701: Bumper Rig

Static stress analysis of a drone test rig concept. 4 different positions of the test rig were analysed, with varying load cases evaluating the effect of having different impellers on the rig at different power levels. Although the actual load is an impact load, a quasi-static analysis was performed in agreement with customer. Upon completion, recommendations were made to modify the design, and also to run a transient analysis, which would more realistically simulate the time dependent nature of the load.
