Linear static stress analysis and fatigue analysis of a safety valve. Six load cases were analysed in total, with the loads being different operational circumstances, such as a burst pressure supply line. Solid and beam elements were used for the model. The minimum factor of safety was reported for each load case, highlighting the areas of concern in the design.
