Modal and linear static stress analysis with non-linear contact of a mirror housing and bracket. A modal analysis was conducted on the first design. Upon modification of the design, a modal and stress analysis was performed. From the first to second design, the natural frequencies increased, and the maximum stresses were below the yield strength of the materials.
