Linear-Elastic Static Finite Element Stress Analysis of a lifting frame with increased load requirements. The model included non-linear surface contacts represented by gap elements within the model. Upon completion of analysis, recommendations were given to increase the strength of the frame so that it could pass the acceptance criteria.
