Linear static stress and fatigue analysis of a door safety valve. The safety valve was subject to several load cases, each representing a different operating condition, such as abuse of the door handle. The approach used for the fatigue analysis was a strain based fatigue analysis. Factor of safety results and fatigue results were reported.
