29 Jun 453: Ring Assembly
Static stress analysis with non-linear material models and non-linear contact of a ring assembly, using a half model. Two different load cases were analysed, with a different steel grade being used in each case. The purpose of the analysis was to find the ultimate vertical load that the ring assembly could withstand before failing, and this was reported in both load cases.
