432: Disc Assembly

Linear static stress, fatigue and modal analysis of a disc assembly, with non linear surface contact. For the stress analysis, the disc was subject to a centrifugal load of 1,200RPM. The design passed all acceptance criteria, as the Factor of Safety was above 1.5, the first natural frequency was above 20Hz, and it was deemed the assembly components have an infinite fatigue life.
