257: Heat Exchanger Weld Analysis

Linear static stress analysis of the welds on a heat exchanger. Multiple load cases were analysed, applying design or operating loads accordingly. Although the heat exchanger body was modelled and analysed, only the stresses were reported for the welds as these were the components of interest. Different weld thicknesses were analysed and recommendations were given where applicable on how to improve the weld sizing.
