Linear-Elastic static stress analysis of a housing and cap model, with non-linear contact. The model was subject to an external pressure. Upon completion of the analysis, the design was revised twice before the model passed the acceptance criteria. The final design was also subject to a linear buckling analysis which confirmed that failure would not occur due to buckling.
