Linear Static stress and modal analysis of a roller assembly, with non-linear contact. The model was subject to dead weight for the stress analysis. Two designs were analysed, with and without a solid base plate. For the model with the base plate, both a solid element model and a plate element model were analysed in the modal analysis. For the stress analysis, the stresses in the model were well below yield.
