Linear static stress analysis of a subsea distribution unit (SDU), using non-linear contact. Multiple load cases were analysed with various configurations of loads being applied to the assembly. 2 Designs were analysed with the same load cases, one with and one without side panels. The factor of safety for both design passed the acceptance criteria.
